Do you have an innovative idea that uses Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) to address climate change challenges in Latin America? 🌎

IEEE ComSoc LATAM invites undergraduate and graduate students to transform their ideas into solutions with real impact! 🚀

PHASE 1 – Video Pitch

Submit a 3–5 minute video presenting your innovation. Your pitch should include:

  • The climate change problem you want to address
  • Your proposed solution and what makes it unique
  • Its potential impact and scalability
  • Its technical feasibility 

HOW TO APPLY?

Send your 3–5 minute video pitch to [email protected] by August 24, 2026. The application will be evaluated, and one team from each country will advance to Phase 2. 

PHASE 2 – Written Proposal & Interview

Selected finalists will submit their written proposal and participate in an online presentation and Q&A session with the judges. 

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

Active IEEE and IEEE ComSoc student members, undergraduate or graduate. Teams may have a maximum of 2 participants. 

THE PRIZE

The LATAM winner will receive registration, airfare and accommodation to participate in IEEE LATINCOM 2026 in Cusco, Peru! ✈️🇵🇪

Country winners will also receive an honorable mention and certificate, and their pitches will be featured on social media.
