Diego Dujovne obtained the degree of Electronic Engineer from the National University of Córdoba (UNC), Argentina in 1999 and a PhD in Computer Science from Université de Nice-Sophia Antipolis, having developed his thesis in the PLANETE group (currently DIANA) at INRIA Sophia Antipolis, France, in 2009. He has a Diploma in University Teaching from Universidad Diego Portales.

He developed projects of technology transfer and innovation between the university and industry at LIADE for 5 years, Universidad Nacional de Córdoba and as Director for 3 years of the Laboratory of Digital Signal Processing at the same University (Córdoba Argentina). He is currently full-time Associate Professor at Universidad Diego Portales (UDP), Santiago, Chile where he develops research and technology transfer projects, as well as teaching in different Telecommunications topics: Internet of Things, Digital Communications, Signals and Systems and Digital Signal Processing. He has published in different areas of telecommunications, focusing mainly on IPv6 over LLNs and LPWANs, deterministic networks, experimental wireless networks, software defined radios and content-oriented networks. In addition, since 2014, he has participated in the development of standards for the IETF and the IEEE, in the area of Internet of Things (6tisch/802.15.4 and LPWANs) and sensors, respectively. He is a member of the IEEE since 1994, currently Senior Member, Chair of the IEEE ComSoc Chile Chapter, and since its creation in 2010, he is Counselor for the IEEE-UDP Student Branch.
