Esmeralda is an Electronic and Telecommunication Engineer from National University of South Lima (UNTELS) in Peru; also she is a candidate for a Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering from National University of Callao with research focus in Control Systems and Internet of Things. She works in America Movil Corporation as a Failure Management Analyst for fixed services, Support Engineer in MetroEthernet networks in Telcore S.A, and as Cisco Network Academy Instructor.
Besides Comsoc, she is also member of IEEE Computer, IEEE Intelligent Transport and IEEE Control Society. Actually she is the Secretary for IEEE ComSoc Peru Chapter since 2015.

He is currently a Project Manager for Telcore S.A, and a professor at the National Technological University of South Lima (UNTELS) and the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences (UPC). Previously he was Engineering Manager at Xerox Services for Peru, Senior Consultant and Project Manager at Logicalis Peru, Senior Solutions Consultant for Equant Andino South (currently Orange Group), Regional Project Leader and Senior Internetworking Specialist for AT & T Latin America and specialist in prospecting and evaluation of new services platforms for Telefónica del Perú.

His subjects of interest are: mobile agent systems, cloud computing, virtualization, unified communications. IoT, convergent networks for service providers  and communication systems. He also carried out research on autonomic network management, intelligent networks based on agents, quality of service (QoS) and quality of user experience (QoE), which is why it belongs to the national directory of researchers (DINA) of Concytec.
