Julia Urbina-Pineda, has 17- years of experience in Information Security and Cybersecurity, creator of the Concept CyberIIoT (Cybersecurity for the Intelligent Internet of Things). Julia, begins her career in Information Security from her research work: Intrusion Detection in Computer Networks at Universidad de Las Américas-Puebla, she continued her Studies at the Center for Electronics and Telecommunications (CETEC) at the TEC Monterrey campus Monterre, as a Research Assistant into Master of Science with a Specialty in Electronics-Telecommunications and a PhD in Information Technology with specialization in Cellular Networks (LTE-5G).
She has been a member of the IEEE for 10 years, from 2013 to 2015 she has been the Founder President of Lambda Rho Chapter – IEEE Eta Kappa Nu Honor Society @ the TEC de Monterrey, Campus Monterrey. In 2015 she has been the Founder Coordinator of the IEEE WIE Affinity Group of Section Monterrey and in that same year she belongs to the Roadmap Group 5G Security for the Future Networks IEEE to date. From 2018 to 2020 she was the Founder Coordinator of the IEEE WIE Affinity Group of Veracruz section, in 2020 she was the coordinator of IEEE SAC Computer for LATAM-R9.
