IEEE WICE-EC 2026: Celebrating Women in Communications Engineering
IEEE ComSoc Ecuador cordially invites students, professionals, and researchers to participate in the second edition of IEEE WICE-EC 2026, commemorating International Women’s Day and promoting the role of women in communications engineering.
As part of this special event, we invite you to attend the First Symposium on Nanocommunications and Nanotechnology, where emerging technological frontiers transforming the field will be discussed, including advancements in nanoscale communications, nanomaterials such as nanosensors and nanoactuators, and innovative approaches to data transmission and storage through biological systems, with applications in medical, agricultural, and military security domains.
This initiative is co-organized with IEEE EMBS Ecuador and the Universidad Nacional de Chimborazo, strengthening interdisciplinary collaboration between communications engineering, biomedical sciences, and nanotechnology research.
