Superconductivity Course: origin, present and future of superconducting materials

January 29 @ 4:00 pm - February 2 @ 4:00 pm

Superconductivity is a property observed in certain materials where electric current is conducted without energy loss below a critical temperature. Thus, this interesting property is been used in several technological applications like superconducting quantum interference devices (SQUIDs), magnetic resonance, among others.
This course will be given in Spanish and presented during three days.
Content: History and chronology of the development of superconductivity. Technological applications. Current problems and challenges of superconductivity.
