Webinar: “Trusting the future: B5G cybersecurity & privacy”

November 6, 2020

The digital transformation brought by 5G is redefining current models of end-to-end (E2E) connectivity and service reliability to include security-by-design principles. These principles are necessary to enable 5G to deliver to its promise.

Achieving 5G trustworthiness necessitates the importance of embedding security capabilities from the very beginning while 5G architecture is being defined and standardized. Security requirements need to overlay and permeate through the physical, network, and application systems layers of 5G, as well as different parts of an E2E 5G architecture, including a risk management framework that takes into account the evolving security threats landscape.

Lecturer:   Dr. Eman Hammad

IEEE Member and co-chair of the IEEE 5G Security working group for the International Network Generations Roadmap (INGR)
