Este año, hemos preparado un espacio especial en nuestra facultad para que puedas competir junto a tu equipo en un ambiente lleno de energía y camaradería. Durante las 24 horas de la competencia, tendrás acceso a comida y bebidas para mantenerte energizado. Además, hemos organizado diversas actividades y retos adicionales para mantener la motivación al máximo. También contaremos con zonas de descanso para que puedas tomar un respiro y recargar energías. Es una oportunidad única para demostrar tus habilidades, aprender junto a otros apasionados de la programación y vivir la experiencia completa del IEEEXtreme en un entorno lleno de apoyo y diversión. ¡No te lo pierdas! Se ofrecerá una breve introducción sobre el evento y las actividades planificadas. - 20:00 - 21:00: Cena y Networking - Se servirá una cena ligera para los participantes, y se fomentará el networking entre los equipos. - 21:00 - 22:00: Preparativos y Últimos Ajustes - Los equipos tendrán tiempo para organizar su espacio de trabajo, realizar pruebas técnicas y asegurarse de que todo esté listo para la competencia. Domingo, 27 de octubre - 22:00 - 23:00: Comienzo del IEEEXtreme 18.0 - ¡La competencia comienza oficialmente! Los equipos pueden empezar a trabajar en los desafíos. - 23:00 - 02:00: Competencia en curso - Durante este período, los participantes pueden enfocarse en resolver los problemas. Se ofrecerán snacks y bebidas. - 02:00 - 03:00: Actividad de medianoche: Quiz Relámpago - Se organizará un quiz rápido con premios para los ganadores, una oportunidad para relajarse y despejar la mente. - 03:00 - 06:00: Competencia en curso y Zonas de Descanso - Los participantes que necesiten un descanso pueden utilizar las áreas designadas para descansar. Snacks nocturnos estarán disponibles. - 06:00 - 07:00: Desayuno - Se ofrecerá un desayuno para recargar energías. - 07:00 - 12:00: Competencia en curso - Los equipos continúan trabajando en los desafíos. Se servirán snacks y bebidas durante la mañana. - 12:00 - 13:00: Almuerzo y Actividad Lúdica - Se servirá el almuerzo, y se organizará una actividad lúdica para despejar la mente. - 13:00 - 18:00: Competencia en curso - La competencia sigue su curso. Los equipos deben aprovechar las últimas horas para completar los desafíos. - 18:00 - 19:00: Cena - Cena ligera antes del sprint final de la competencia. - 19:00 - 20:00: Sprint Final y Subida de Soluciones - Los equipos realizan los últimos ajustes y suben sus soluciones antes de la hora límite. - 20:00 - 21:00: Fin de la Competencia y Evaluación de Resultados - La competencia finaliza oficialmente. Se recogerán los resultados y se evaluarán los puntajes. - 21:00 - 22:00: Entrega de Premios y Cierre del Evento - Se anunciarán los ganadores y se entregarán los premios. IEEE CS Byte2Solution Challenge is a competition designed to highlight and develop innovative talent in the fields of technology and computer science. Following the success of the first edition held in Barranquilla at Universidad Simón Bolívar, this event has become a space for learning, creativity, and collaboration. This time, students will have the opportunity to compete alongside other outstanding teams from the region, with the previous year’s winning team from Universidad Simón Bolívar returning to defend their title in the grand final. This year’s IEEE CS Byte2Solution Challenge will unfold in three key stages: - Training: On November 20, teams will participate in a workshop to gain insights into Elevator Pitch, Business Model Canvas, and Prototyping—essential tools for structuring and effectively communicating their projects. - Semifinals at the IEEE CS Student Chapter in each university: From November 21 to 28, teams will compete in an internal round to select their university’s IEEE CS Student Chapter representative. - Grand Final in Cartagena: On November 30, at Universidad Unitecnar, the qualified teams, including the previous year’s winning team, will compete in the grand final.
